The SCALE-UP North Sea Region partners offer tailor-made Meet the Buyer events. These events are designed to match large enterprises (buyers) to cleantech suppliers (innovators). The Meet the Buyer events bring large customers with cleantech innovation needs together with SMEs with innovative cleantech products, services and solutions.

leading enterprises in a variety of business sectors. The event is invite only and will give you the chance to have an individual one-to-one meeting with key decision makers. Join the event, establish valuable collaborations, pitch your products and services, and discuss business partnerships that can fast-forward your company’s growth.
What is Rotterdam The Hauge Airport looking for?
RTHA has to deal with a large diversity of interested parties in its surrounding area. On the one hand there is the shareholder, the Royal Schipol Group, and on the other hand, the users of the airport, the airline companies, regional stakeholders such as Rotterdam Municipality and its industrial harbour complex, The Hague, and the other municipalities in the area, and their inhabitants. They all have their own interests and their own views on the future of the airport.
RHIA is looking for solutions within two areas:
1. Smart Energy Systems (SES) – Read the buyer profile here.
· Smart Energy Systems control applications (both hardware and software)
· Electrical Energy Storage utilities
· Thermal Energy Storage utilities
· Smart EV charging infrastructure
2. Urban Air Mobility (UAM) – Read the buyer profile here.
· Drone Platforms
· Drones capable of providing professional service in different types of fields
· Drone service applications
This event should have had taken place 20th of March with two buyers: Rotterdam The Hague Innovation Airport (RHIA) and the airline Transavia. Because of the very turbulent times, the event was postponed and since then, Transaiva have postponed indefinitely. However, RHIA is still looking for innovators.
Because we still do not know when and if restrictions will be lifted in the short term, the decision has been made to do matching on a 1-to-1 basis as potential innovators indicate their interest. This allows for more flexibility in arranging these meetings, which will take place through a virtual online connection. This is why no date or location are mentioned in attached profiles.
